I'm having a couple of problems with HTML versions of the daily digest emails and i'm hoping you can help
1) All of the links are being duplicated in the email, mostly twice but some times three or four times, for example in the latest email to be sent out almost every link was repeated twice and one was repeated three times.
2) WSN Links has sometimes been sending more than 1 digest email out per day, containing different links but still duplicating them - is there a limit as to how many links will be included per email before it splits them up into two and is the duplication mentioned above affecting it?
Here are my full email settings:
- Number of emails to be sent at a time: 50 - Send confirmation email to user when they register: yes - Send confirmation email to user when they submit a link: no - Send email to user when their link is validated or rejected: yes - Send email to user when their link has expired: no - Send email to user when their link's or user account's sponsored status has expired: yes - Send email to user when a link is reassigned to them: yes - Send email to user on their birthday: yes - Notify admins via e-mail of items pending validation: yes - Notify admins via e-mail of edited links even when they don't need validation: no - Only send unique subscription notifications: yes - Default Sending Format: MIME - Send Everything from Administrative Address: no
I'm not about to reproduce any problems with digests so far.
If the processing goes quicker one day than the previous, I suppose it could be slightly less than 24 hours.
The time cutoff for what's included in the mail is 24 hours earlier than the time the digest started processing. If processing took more than a day there could be some missing, but I don't see how duplicates could come about.
