I'm wondering if the Duplicate Check funtion is overly sensitive intentionally or if it's something that was over looked.
I'm getting duplicate results when checking, that are not really duplicates. But whats setting off the trigger is the fact that some contain the same words in their domin names.
One example;
"hunting.net" and "bowhunting.net" continue to come up as vioilating the duplicate link rule, but they are not duplicates, by name, by url, recip url, or by I.P.
What are your duplicate settings at Admin -> settings -> links?
Check for duplicates on submission? Disallow any reuse of the same domain name? yes no Allow these domains to be duplicate despite the restrictions selected above (separate with a space):
Testing "hunting.net" and "bowhunting.net" with yes/yes selections and didn't get any duplication notices. Checked both on submit and the admin panel redirecting check.

Only the URL matters when there is one.

They are both set to yes, and allowable domians only contains my domain name.
I dont know what would have caused it then. You got me wondering if I maybe set these settings up after these duplicates joined.
I'll test it with another one of my domains and get back to you. Thanks by the way.

As always, I can check it on your server if necessary: http://www.wsnlinks.com/inspection.html

Yeah, I must have made the "no duplicate urls" adjustments after these had already joined, because I cannot get it to accept now.
I do appreciate it Paul.
