Nope. Now I did a fresh install on another server and there it doesn't work at all. No category or link information does change at all when I switch languages. I guess I'm just too stupid for wsnlink
OK - for my second problem on the new server you can call me stupid (I used deutsch_title instead of deutsch_name for categories). The other problem (subcategories always shown in English, not in the selected language) still persists. I'll send you a link.

Hi,
when using multilingual template, in category view, only the main categories are in the user's language, the subcategories are always in English.
Example:
German Category 1
English Subcategory 1, English Subcategory 2, English Subcategory 3, etc.
What do I have to change to show everything in the user's selected languages.
Cheers,
Chris

Found the problem. Fixed for next release. You'll need to regenerate categories after upgrading.

Hi, I updated to 5.0.23 and then regenerated the categories. But it did not solve the problem.

Works for me. It doesn't work for you on new submissions either?

What are your field names for the alternate languages?
