Not big of a problem but want to fix it as it was there before ...i think..
what i did...(big story)
as you might remember from previous topics i had the rewrite problem which resulted in showing categories into numbers instead of its name.
so i started editing the database directly. for a long time all was going fine, but i still must have made a mistake somewhere...
things didnt looked to great so i decided to put back my completed version which i did local some time ago,but loosing a bunch of links that were submitted.
So i uploaded that database and pointed my config.php settings to the new database.. (the files and folders are never touched.)
so far so good.. but there are 2 weird things....
if i go to members/Integration Generator i just see a dropdown with zero content to choose from. So the dropdown is very tiny.
Where did it go?
Second thing is the latest member.. That still show ! But im starting new with 0 members... and i dont have a cache either...
That means there's nothing else in the database. Only 5.0's integration generator can use a different database. You can manually edit the file in 4.1 to say database.tablename but I can't guarantee it'll work, it's only tested and supported in 5.0.
so i started editing the database directly.
That's never a good idea. If you get numeric rewriting, either: (a) you have characters in the name that aren't legal in URLs (b) there's some sort of bug
If (a), you can set a special rewrite URL for the category by editing the category in 5.0+. If (b), request site inspection.
Second thing is the latest member.. That still show !
If you're using an old database, that's going to show until regeneration.
There's always at least one member, you. The display normally only updates at the time someone registers or when a totals regeneration is performed, though.
Tested deleting a member and then regenerating totals, updates properly for me.
Well paul i do wanna believe you but what im seeing is impossible. The backup database im using now is the one i created some time ago when i was busy importing everything all that time. So the only member was indeed the admin. So what i did was upload that database and pointed the config to the other database. So you see paul....its impossible that it shows that member...
But...it gets funier, when i got a new member the "ghost member" disapeared... So now i only see the true members.. Solved...but weird.

Any clear answer with these 2 mystery's ?
