Comments on Any review site examples?

On the individual page, there is so much flexibility that I have no concerns, in fact I love it. I have a killer name for a country and I have solved the bilingual part (thanks to Paul.) That is one huge plus. On the front page however, I am not so sure. Basically: Can I make a good Hosting Guide? Does anyone see any problems or can suggest a site that has already done what I am looking for? I t can;t look like a directory, I have to put some more 'read meat' in front thanks,

My favourite would be a toplist of the latest additions, not just as the default toplist on the main page, but expand it to the central part and include the description, so that it looks more sort of like a blog. Or the toplist could be on best rated.
