::edit:: I just looked at the reg template more closely - I'll move the fields I want to keep out of the 'if not quickreg' conditional and turn it on.

Hi Paul,

I'm almnost ready to open my site.. the more I work with your software the more I love it.

Can I just rip fields out of the registration form? I just want to remove most of the non-essential fields but not all (quick reg).

Do I need to set them to hidden with the defaults, or can I just take them out?

Thanks,

Jeff

Take them out and the registration defaults will be applied. Hidden fields work too. Also consider if you want to keep the fields submittable by admins (if you register on behalf of someone)... put them inside <IF {THISMEMBERISADMIN}> </IF> to only show to admins.
