I just added a new usergroup. After adding the group I added a new category, the submission of which had no problems, but when I go back to edit the category I have the following usergroups listed at the bottom of the form, 1,2,3,6,6. I should have 1,2,3,5,6 - usergroup 4 was deleted.
I've gone back to try editing a category which had been added prior to the new usergroup being added and those correctly list the groups, only the new category lists the last one twice and skips the second to last one.
Ok, figured out how to reproduce it. Try adding a new category and set "Default to no access?" to YES and leave all permissions to Use Default except Admin which has "Can view category?" set to YES. Then go back to edit the category and the last added group should be listed twice.
BTW, I re-read my first post and I'm not sure if it was clear, but the fact that usergroup 4 was deleted is not part of this problem. I had deleted it myself for completely separate reasons.

Can't reproduce. At the end of that process I have categories 1,2,3,4 on the edit page. Tried fiddling with permissions, no difference.
