It does affect all versions.
when "recipurl" is selected to be a required field, it does not stop from submitting without this field containing a URL.
My quess would be it is because it has "http://" prefilled so technically it is not empty - any way to fix it?
same applies if the actual link URL is left blank (with prefilled http:// part)

The best way to require reciprocation is Admin -> Settings -> Switches -> "Only allow reciprocal". Reciprocal links always require a recipurl which is not http://.
Applying generic code to make http:// equivalent to blank in incomplete checks.

for the moment I edited to show only recip option for submitters and all types to admin - i allow regular but only as "demotion" from recip.
