I think it would be VERY handy Paul, because of automated meta tag inclusion such as keywords as I have set up (which you cannot easily spot check all added links, too much time wasted checking for bad words after bulk links added!), you could stop someone one from searching your links for say "sex" which is actually used a lot as a keyword, since it would attract alot of people to a website regardless of the content. Being able to STOP searches of certain words or phrases also shows that a webmaster in serious about keeping his or her content safe for families or kids!
Stopping a search word doesn't prevent anyone from viewing the content via the directory, it just causes people to be unable find, to use your example, this educational article that comes up when you google "ant sex".
If you want to block sites by words, then use the content checker in the link checkers area. That way you're actually blocking based on content on the page, and actually removing it from your directory. And that way you can have a look and exempt sites that are using the word in a child-friendly way.
