Comments on missing TAGS after regenerate

Now I can see this special tag on all selected links. After doing a complete regenerate (regenerate everything...) all this tags are deleted. Now I can NOT see anymore the tag. Thanx for help. Frank

For one thing the tags field uses a pipe on both sides, but for another the tags field is only a cache which is based on the actual values in the tags database table. Adding a uniform tag to a category doesn't seem to fit with my conception of what tagging is for, anyhow.

I could write a script to bulk-add tags in about an hour, so $40.
