I have a couple of issues I need sorted out, but there was one that I just noticed when doing some modifications.
When I look at the pages in IE, everything seems fine but when I switched to Firefox, there was data missing. For example, in the right sidebar, I see "Subscribe to Category", "Submit Subcategory" and "Submit Link" when I am in a category in IE.
However, when I am on the exact page in Firefox, I can only see "Submit subcategory" and "Submit Link".
I have a similar problem with the small graphics and links for each listing (ex. Details, rate, email submitter etc). There are a few that are not showing up in Firefox at all.
I know people have had issues with IE, but I seem to have the opposite problem in Firefox.
When things look different depending on the browser, that usually means the problem is: A) Browser caching. Clear the cache and reload. B) Cookies. Clear cookies. C) Bad HTML. Validate the page (ctrl+alt+v in opera, or http://validator.w3.org in any browser).
It'd also be worth checking other browsers -- Opera, Safari or Konqueror -- for a pattern.
Actually, I figured out that it was "human error"....in other words, I was working on this project with too little sleep and didn't realize that I was logged in as Admin on the IE version and not in the FF version...sigh....I should really learn not to work on this so late at night!
