If the version number didn't change then it didn't upgrade. The autoupgrade depends on the source version and there were several problems with beta 6's, but as far as I can recall that was its failure to automatically run upgrade.php, it seemed to overwrite the files properly and so should show the new version -- as long as your FTP info is supplied or permissions are otherwise available.

Hello
this morning i can view that in my admin index :
A newer release, 4.1.0 Beta 8, is available. You can have everything brought up to date by clicking the button below.
and when i click on this button the script say :
The upgrade is complete. See the change log if you want to find out what's new.
but when i go back to the home admin the message is always the same and the number of my version don't change ?
so upgrade is done or no ?
What's the matter with it ?
