I have profile set to make log in every year, always have had and it used to be ok (ie I didn't have to log in every single time.) I have not changed anything and my cookies are working ok.
Upgraded and it was still ok. However, in the last couple of days I have to log-in every single time. This also happens with a new set up I am testing 4.1.0a7 on, but not a site that still runs v.4.0.26

Seems fixed for me in 4.0.32, though I'm mysteriously unable to fix it in 4.1.0 so far.

This did appear to be fixed in Beta1 - just upgraded to beta2 and it's broken again
