I have tried everything, but when I change the currency to GB pounds, everything works fine, and the customer get charge the right amount, but no funds are added to the customers account.
This is link type sponsorship.
What happens is thier link gets upgraded, but then gets down graded again soon after because no link funds have been added to their link.
I charge £25.00 GPB for an upgrade, and three hours after upgrading their link funds show as minus.
I am charging the fee per year and have £25 deducted every 365 days.
It is not a settings issue though, it just isn't adding the funds to the link at all. It upgrades the listing for a short time, with no funds, and then downgrades and shows minus.
Please help, this is seriously hindering the development of my directories. Would it not be possible to add GPB as a standard option?
Yes GBP set exactly as instructed in an earlier thread on this forum, and I have tried creating a paypal button. Both do exactly the same, upgrade for a few hours without adding funds.
Could there be something in PayPal.php that is causing it?
I don't see how the currency could make a differnece there, it's work in all or none.
Change
//$debug = 1;
to
$debug = 1;
to get debug results emailed. If you don't get anything then paypal.php must not be getting called and you should check your paypal account IPN settings.

Are you using PayPal? Are you sure you have GBP set as the currency in the button code? Try generating a new button through paypal's generator.
