I originally posted this in the wrong place I think, for I didn't get any responses and plus it isn't really a hack or mod.
I think you should include H1 tags in the script somewhere, as they are important to SEO. You could make it simply repeat the site name, and let the user change it. I put one on the bottom of my site, simply repeating my site name and slogan. (view)
Also, you should consider putting an ALT tag on the "Updated!" and "New" images next to links/categories. You will receive marks off SEO score for not having these tags. I tried look for the variable that displays the image and found it in the TPL file, but couldn't find the reference and couldn't modify anything.
Other than that, the SEO is good. You might want to let the user edit the index page easier to allow a description, as the one you have that displays link totals, catgegories, and users is very short and not SEO friendly. Users should put a definition of their site here for better SEO.
What I really need is the path to the function for putting in the NEW or UPDATED image, so I can put an ALT tag on it. Any suggestion would be great, thanks.
Any idea when release will be? I'm trying to get as SEO optimized as possible before the googlebot crawls me again and updates my cache.
No hurry or anything, just wondering
By the way, I've been doing some big marketing for you over at Digital Point, I've had great things to say for your script. Hope you can get some extra sales

As of the revision of 4.0.19 earlier today, you should be able to add language items alt_new and alt_updated to set text for them.

I upgraded successfully, added the langugage items successfully, and still it shows 'blank' for the ALT title.
Am I missing something?

I see, it was only in my development version. Just keep those language items and they'll take effect in 4.0.20.

I've been releasing every week or two lately, so within the next week is a good bet.
