There are SQL errors displayed on the home page. Here are the errors:
Warning: mysql_list_fields() [function.mysql-list-fields]: Unable to save MySQL query result in /home/directo/public_html/classes/database.php on line 30
Warning: mysql_num_fields(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/directo/public_html/classes/database.php on line 31
How do i fix these?
I think I have WSNLinks 3.1. But, I am not sure. I tried to login to my Admin area using a valid username and password and it just returned the above 2 errors on the top of the page and rest of the page is blank.
WSN Links 3.1 is not supported, since it's several years out of date and I sent out the security update email a year or more ago telling you not to use pre-3.3.8 versions anymore. There's no point in posting when you know you're using a version with known bugs and you've refused to apply the fixes.
Check your version number by going to your admin panel and reading the top of the page, or if you can't get read your readme file or visit index.php?checkversion=docheck
From 3.3.8, if you don't want to have to redo all the templates you can upgrade to the legacy version 3.4.6. The readme.html file inside the download gives the instructions.
The upgrade to the current version (4.0.18) is a little more difficult since it requires re-customizing the templates.
If you still get an error, go to index.php?debug=1 and post the resulting output.
Upgrading if you don't save the templates is very simple, but if for some reason you want to pay me to do it see scripts.webmastersite.net/w...wsnlinks/?section=services . Template customization services are also listed there (if you use my custom coding and template modification form the project will be handled by ZOIIG).

I checked the version I am currently using. It displays a WSN Links 3.3.8
I think I have the version that you have mentioned above. Do I still need to apply any patches to this version?
How do i upgrade to the latest version? Are there any step-by-step instructions to do this upgrade myself?
Thanks

I need someone to help me upgrade to latest version of WSN Links and also create a template for the website.
Can you suggest anyone who has expertise in doing this?
Thanks
