I was setting up a new database. All was going well and confirmed setup ok.
I did some work on admin (new link types, added fields) and all was still ok. Was just setting up the seo when I suddenly got a 500 internal server error. Now I cannot access the site at all, not even to a normal html page.
This has now been fixed my by host. Apparently "There were a few invalid lines in your .htaccess files." which they fixed. I have no idea what the invalid lines were or how they were made. Might be worth watching to see if this happens to anybody else.

If it happens again, post a copy of the .htaccess.

I'm getting a 500 error when I go to the admin area. Is this to due with the same file?
