On a clean 2.0.0 install, i create a subforum in the default "Sample forum". Now, i upgrade to 2.0.1 according to instructions in readme.html and also select to "Reset to latest version" for wsncodes and smilies.
I "edit" the subforum i created earlier to see it's permissions. The "Can submit:" Subforums and Posts permissions, instead of the usual dropdown boxes, it shows just an empty dropdown box and the text "use defaultyesno Posts" next to it.
thanks Paul, that fixed it, but now i have a new problem.
In guests-usergroup permissions, i give permission to guests to submit both topics and posts but with validation. I logout, submit a topic as a guest and then login as admin to validate it. The problem is that the topic does not appear in the validation page, only the post appears.
Also, the "After a user edits a forum"-redirection is now set to "catmanagement.php" which gives an error.
After a little testing on a clean install i found out what is happening. It happens if i check the "Require validation of: Topic emails" permission, but since i don't really need this, i am ok for now
now i understand the purpose of this setting, no wonder why i couldn't make it to work.
by the way, i upgraded to 2.0.3 and the "After a user edits a forum" redirection is still set to "catmanagement.php" instead of "admin/catmanagement.php"

i upgraded from 2.0.0 to 2.0.1, but there is a problem with the permissions of all the subforums, the top-level forums are ok.
the problem is with the "Can submit:" Subforums and Posts permissions, they are messed up

You'll have to be more specific than "messed up". I don't see anything wrong with mine.

Can submit subforums seems to break it. Fixed to display properly in 2.0.2.

It would not appear for validation until the guest confirms the email.
