got a couple of issues on my WSN Links at the moment, 3.3.17
for some reason, when I click on a link, it doesn't get counted as a hit... it works if I'm a guest though - just doesn't do it when I'm logged in as admin. All the settings are fine, see screenshot.
I can't seem to log out - everytime I press Logout, it keeps me logged in. The link is correct, it takes me to ?action=userlogout.
1. You have "prevent counting of multiple hits by same IP" set to "yes", so if counts them when you're a guest then it counting them would be the bug. Will test. 2. Cookie issue almost certainly due to having another install along the same path, you'll need to change the login cookie names under settings->system to be unique.
1. OK, I set 'prevent counting of multiple hits by same IP' to No, and also disabled 'Don't count the hit or rating if the first...' by putting a 0 in there... I would have expected this to increment the hit counter every time I clicked on a listing, but it still doesn't work!!
I've now noticed that even if I download a file (i.e. click on an attachment like a Word doc to download it), it doesn't increase the hits - stays at 0.

Hits have nothing to do with file downloads.

look Paul, its obvious I am referring to the file download counter.
the issues are: 1. the hits counter doesn't work, even after making the adjustments outlined above. 2. The file download counter doesn't work
both issues are probably related...
