I even did as low as one. It doesn't bog down, it does them all just the number dissapears out of that box so it does not continue to the next box. I don't have this problem on another directory and I upgrade them together so I'm at a but of a loss.

My one directory recip checker works fine but another one refuses to go past the first 15. continuing on after intervals of (this blanks out) seconds

Have you tried doing fewer per group? A slow loading or slowly-dead url would delay it possibly beyond the timeout if you're doing more than a few.
