Following the guide, I used tulip to import the dmoz categories I wanted, trouble is they dont seem to have associated with top level cat properly.
When you edit them from the site parent category dropdown isnt filled and if you try to edit categories in the admin area they dont show up, theres nothing displayed.

Followed everything, chose to regenerate everything.

Maybe the problem relates to the title. DMOZ has nothing to do with integration.
Maybe you could explain what "they dont show up" means and what "the site parent category dropdown isnt filled" means more clearly.
