I created 47 sub-categories, the default of 40 per page and trying to go to page [2] gives a 404 error -- page two having a URL:
http://example.com/4&subpage=2&subperpage=40


Since I didn't really want it to page anyhow I'd worked around this by upping the categories per page..

URL rewriting issue, fixed for 3.3.8.
