Can I request better email control for outgoing messages? Let me explain.
I have an email address for the "admin" where all emails are sent from, however I can choose a different email address for approvals.
Now, when a link is approved the system will email members but the address this email comes from is always the admin address. This would be different then the address used to send to the submitter to let them know their link is approved.
It would be nice to configure each type of out-going message with a specific email address, I want link notifications to go with a noreply@whaever address.
This way I can capture any bounces and deal with bad email addresses and if people want to reply..I don't want myself or moderators to have to deal with bounces manually.
What specific places are you talking about? The validation and rejection emails, of course, can already be sent from whatever address you desire... as can the 'send emails' emails and several other places.
