Ok.. for some reason i cannot login, i belave i have checked everything:

  • checked md5 hash in DB is correct
  • created a new user with same password, md5 matched - auto logged in ok after user creation, but after logout would not log back in
  • no intergration is set up
  • is set to use md5 as method of encryption
  • will not login on any other pc either
  • right table is getting accessed
  • reminder changes md5 in db and sends email with password that gives the same error
  • will not login with either admin or normal user login
  • tested on firefox 1.5 and IE
  • cookies are being set ok
HELP!

The password you supplied does not match the one for that username.

The user is validated?

auto logged in ok after user creation, but after logout would not log back in

That sounds like the sort of thing that'd be a cookie conflict.

And most importantly of course, what were you doing right before this happened?
