Can you please tell me where the html is for people to place on their page for a reciprocal link so I can edit it

I have looked under languages and other places but can't find it!

Go to 'edit outgoing emails' in your admin panel's emails section.

Sorry Paul but I still can't find it! The wording I want to edit appears at the top of suggestlink.tpl if a reciprocal link cannot be found on submission.

No reciprocal link can be found on your page. If you haven't yet placed a link, please place this HTML on your page:
The Dog Scene Links Directory

It is that html I wish to update as I want reciprocal links to be to the main site, not the directory section.

Sorry if I wasn't over clear to begin with.

If it's a non-email, click 'language' in your admin panel instead.

Note: never edit a .lng file directly, use the admin panel.

The 'language' section in the admin panel was the very first place I looked. Started with section for submission then went through the whole lot

I can't find it anywhere!!!!!!!!!!!

I still can't find it and I have looked through the language section half a dozen times

Go to Admin

Under Customizations click language

At top of page you have lots of links across the page (3 lines down), the first one is e-mails - click it

Bottom of that page you should have Page 123 - click for page 2

The part your looking for is the 10th box down (or it is on mine)

Hope that helps

Hi Spiceworld

Thank you but that is an email sent out and not what I am looking for.

When a user submits a new reciprocal link wsn automatically checks the url for the reciprocal link on their site. If wsn cannot find such a link it will not process the form and displays a message at the top stating "No reciprocal link can be found on your page. If you haven't yet placed a link, please place this HTML on your page: " and showing a box with the url for my links directory page. THIS is what I want to change - what appears on the page, not an email

What you need to do is go to 'language' and type a sample of the actual text in the search box at the top. Find language items containing 'No reciprocal link can be found'... that will bring up the one and only language item you are looking for.

What inbound link? Any in.php link is either searchable under language or in a template.

The language I found states....

No reciprocal link can be found on your page. If you haven't yet placed a link, please place this HTML on your page: <br> <textarea cols="60" rows="2"><a href="{INBOUNDLINK[{LINKID}]}">The Dog Scene - Dedicated to pure bred dogs in the UK</a></textarea>

Basically I want people to have the reciprocal link back to the home page, NOT the directory page.

The inbound link directs itself to whatever you have listed as your site url under settings->system, not to your directory url.
