Edit: Finally figured out that you meant the admin panel bulk editing rather the regular method of editing categories. The fix will be uploaded in about an hour.
Have updated the files and now get a 500 server error. Have checked all the possible chmod permissions, but can't sort it.
I even went as far as deleting and re-installing everything.
I read in another post that it could be to do with 1and1 hosting (who i'm hosting with), if thats so is it possible for the output of bulkcategories.php page to be split?
As i said before would it be possible to split the categories somehow. At the moment i have it set to 2 levels, but i do like to be able to see the sub-categories aswell, just for seeing at a quick glance if i've filled everything that needs filling.
I will have a look myself and see, but i'm not a programmer, but can add and move stuff as required when it exists in the first place.
I'm down to just 1 level now, and i only have 266 categories.
I will have a look at the Toplist way of doing it as that sounds like what i want to do. It just makes it easier to see what's going on in deeper levels.

Hi Paul
Just installed Version 3.3.0, but am getting an error as below:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: cattypeoptions() in /homepages/10/d123798057/htdocs/classes/category.php on line 886
Something i've got wrong or a bug?

A 500 there probably means more data than you can display, so reduce your number of levels.

I'm not sure what you mean by splitting. If there's too much data there's too much data.
You could do a custom template with a toplist of everything underneath a particular top level category I suppose, that sort of thing.

Hi PurpleCow
Just use something like Beyond Compare to compare the changed files.

If i atleast know which files needs to be compared, I can do it.
Otherwise checking all the files...can be tedious..better to re-install again.
Paul any help ?

With Beyond Compare it takes seconds to compare all the files.
If i remember right there wasn't that many that changed dramatically.
Cheers
ps. if you haven't done much design work then yes just reinstall and then compare just the Template files.
