Ex. If you wanted to include an image in the description field you would use [img\]http://www.imageurl.com[/img] instead of <img src="https://www.webmastersite.net/forums/xxx"></img>
You set which fields can use WSN codes on the Admin > Settings > General page
If you want to use straight html in the description field (or whatever field) you would need to grant that permission in Admin > Settings > Manage Usergroups
Choose which usergroup you want to edit and then check the box next to "Can use html"

Hello, anybody get custom fields or even the current field (description) to allow html coding? Just wanted to format some text, bold, italic, etc.

Formatting should use WSN Codes, which you apply to fields in settings->general. HTML usage is controlled by a usergroup permission.

Click 'wsn codes' in your admin panel or read scripts.webmastersite.net/w...inks/wsnmanual/articles/51
