The Admin panel has an entry for HTML for the ad banner. But, I cannot find documentation in the manual or on the support forum to use this feature. With this feature, it was possible to display a banner. But then, TWO banners were shown rather than just one.

Here are three questions about the ad banner feature:

How can the ad banner be centered?

How can the ad banner image be changed within the admin panel?

How can the destination URL for the ad banner be changed (i.e. point to Web site's home page instead of links page)?

It simply places the supplied code where you have {ADBANNER} in your wrapper template (or any template for that matter).

is there any plan to include a banner ad manager to the system?
Would be great for clients to be able to buy graphic ad space.. both banner and button as well as feature their links.

If you have a banner attached to links, you can throw up a links toplist (1 item ordered randomly) as a simple banner rotator. There are no plans for a more complex method.

is it possible to do this by usergroup... so that I could sell access to a advertising usergroup?
I am just trying to figure out how I can sell managed banner adverts.

thanks

Well the existing sponsorship system would make it simple to promote all links by a sponsoring usergroup to a new link type. You could make the link type look the same as normal in the categories if you want, while filtering your banner toplist to only include links of that type (toplist condition type='sponsortype').
