I have set in the option that users have to log in every 1 year. But when users go to sign up, it defaults to log in every 6 hours. I have set the default options t 1 year so I am a bit confused. Was wondering if anyone else was having this problem?
Sorry, didn't realise there was a quick registration.
It happens in regular registration.
Also I have both GD library & image magik installed and it doesn't matter which one is enabled I can't see where the unique graphical code is anymore to stop bots.
Yes, you are correct, one-year is ore-selected in the settings and user registration screen and every-where else I can find, but when a user goes to sign up it defaults to 6 hours for some reason.

Well on regular registration I already checked and in a normal install, 'one year' is pre-selected on the registration page.
The security image setting is at settings->general.

When one year is selected on registration, and I register, when I edit my profile one year is again selected.
