argh!!! I just imported a lot of urls over the course of 4 hours, and I'm just now seeing that many link titles, and only link titles, get duplicated for some reason. Any idea what's going on here? I can't make this directory public as it is now.
To be more specific, Link 1 title gets duped and used on Link 2. Everything related to both links (title desc url etc) are perfectly fine, except Link 2's title is the exact same as Link 1.
Any ideas what wrong? Can i fix this somehow? I hate to lose all that work...
Imported how? The DMOZ importer, or the box to type URLs to add? Either way I've just tested and can't duplicate, but perhaps with the box it could do that if a page didn't have a title tag.
Comments on Duplicate link titles!?

I used the box to type URLs to add, did about 15 at a time. I just checked the title tags on some of the problem listings and they seem to be there.
I also looked abit closer at the issue and it's happening quite a bit, I'm guessing, but I'd say to 30% of the listings have this issue.
Aside from this, I really like the script, but I have to solve this in order to use it. Thanks very much for your help so far!

any chance a trailing slash would cause this? meaning I always type an url like this:
http://www.url.com/
not this:
http://www.url.com

I just did another test without the trailing slash and the problem is still there.

You'll probably have to give me some of the urls you're using, because it doesn't happen with any urls I pick.

Hi Paul,
I just PM'd you a sample of problem urls and a link to where you can see the problem those urls created in my directory. Let me know what you think.
Thanks!
