Displaying links from subcategories can be done with toplists but will probably kill your server or get you kicked off a shared host for the load time increase it'd cause.
Very unlikely. It really doesn't make any sense to me why you'd put something in a subcategory if you want it shown in the main category (and yet you don't want to alias).And as far as I see, it would always cause more server load.

Hello,
Using displaylinks.tpl, is there a way to show subcats and their links from the parent cat?
ex:
Retail (main cat)
Best Buy (Sub cat)
link 1
link 2
Circuit City (sub cat 2)
link 1
