1) Powweb now has a limitation on how many queries your database may have per hour. It's set at 72,000 queries/hour. That does not seem like much if Each page at my site generates 75 queries with 100 visitors/hour and 10 page views/visitor then I would hit 72,000 queries. Are there any techniques for me to decrease my querie count on my site with in WsnLinks?
2) does templates html codes like reciprocal link increase query time even though I have it turn off under switches, or should I remove any unnecessary html codes that I am not using for my site to decrease query time.
3) Does using CSS increase, decrease or have no effect on query time?
I find that a rather nutty policy since queries are not created equal and things that lower the number of queries don't always lower the load. Anyhow, toplists are the main thing I can think of that increase query totals.
Link types use extra queries only if you've selected in your settings to not mix link types. I don't remember there being any way to switch off link types though so I don't know what you're really talking about.
I wouldn't. I've been running a site on a VPS since last August (a VPS acts like a dedicated server with full OS access, but it's actually a partition embedded in a larger server hence it's much cheaper) and found that all I seem to know how to do is click the 'reboot' button when something goes wrong.
Webmastersite.net's host Spenix is certainly the most flawless host I've been with. Run by the creator of webhostingtalk.com.
