Actual totals per usergroup. For instance, the directory contains 1.000 links. 200 are visible to guests, 600 to normal members, 800 to senior members and 1.000 to the admin. Right now only the 1.000 is shown to every usergroup.
For the main directory this probably isn't very useful. However for a category with i.e. 3 subcategories of which 1 is member-only it should be useful to only show the total for the 2 visible subcategories.
Note: This may be an automatic effect of the feature suggestion to not even show a category if you don't have access to it...

Dynamic totals would kill a large directory, so they have to be stored as settings. This will require quite a lot of work so it's a low priority.
