just got my very first payment to be sponsored to the top of the category It's only $5.00 but I'm just happy with the beginning of my directory's recognition Here is the question: I checked the link that has been sponsored and it doesn't have the funds in yet, but I already received the notification form PayPal about the payment. Do I manually enter the funds or they will appear there at some point?
If you have the IPN setup correctly, it should have alredy been added and the link type changed to the sponsor type. If you don't have the IPN script integrated, you'd have to add it manually.
I just went to my paypal account and activated the IPN option pointing to the paypal.php in the directory. Is it all that should be done beside setting sponsorship in the admin part?
Also, I added funds manually for the subscriber and I see the amount stays the same all the time - is it supposed to be that way, or it should be reduced every day by daily charge that set up in the Admin Sponsorship? If yes, then its not counting back.
The amount should go down each day, if the link is the sponsored link type. If you didn't set the link type then it wouldn't be reduced (nor sponsored).
...hmm.. I just checked again and noticed that funds were reduced by 5 days... strange, they weren't reduced after first two days. Still something is relly weired - funds were added on December 21st and today is 28th, even if we don't count 21st and 28th as not complete days - there are 6 days supposed to be subtracted.

Yes, that should make the IPN work.
